The CEREPS executive board met for their Spring meeting at the city of Luxembourg. The agenda of the meeting included regular administration items and several business points related to the new structure of CEREPS and preparation of the General Assembly at the Summit at Münster (June 29 – July 1,2026). The board reviewed the final draft of the protocol of the online General Assembly, July 1, 2025; the inscription of the final CEREPS constitution of October 2025; and BIL bank affairs. For the Summit about 20 members of CEREPS registered among them up to 5 speakers of the Summit. Progress was reported about the final structure of the new CEREPS Ambassador Committee. Nine European umbrella organisations representing different Physical Education Associations and Sport Pedagogy (AIESEP, CEREPS, EUPEA, FIEPS), Sport Psychology, Sport Sociology, Sport History and HEPA-Europe and ENGSO Youth confirmed their participation in the Ambassador Committee. Actually, CEREPS has become a partner of a new E+ application (iPhyLi-Comm) and executive board members became supporters of a new global initiative for quality improvement of physical education policy (PE4PISA).
Two important items of work were addressed for discussion at the General Assembly: the new elected directors of CEREPS committees should recommend and select standing members of their committees and CEREPS should initiate a European-wide standing monitoring project (every three years) on the quality of physical education development, together with international and national partners.
